Single-brooded, overwinters as a larva. Occasional migrant to the UK
Recorded size of fully grown larvae - 20 to 24mm
Usual larval stage September to May
Adult forewing - around 13 to 15mm. Flies Late August to September
Larval foodplants : Broom (Cytisus spp.) and Gorse (Ulex europaeus)
