Single-brooded, overwinters fully fed in a cocoon, pupates in April
Usual larval stage July to April
Adult forewing - around 5.5 to 6.5mm. Flies June to July
Larval foodplants : In the terminal shoots or spun leaves of oak (Quercus spp.), birch (Betula spp.) or Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa).
