Single-brooded, overwinters as a larva
Usual larval stage April to March
Adult forewing - around 5 to 6.5mm. Flies mid-May to early July
Larval foodplants : On flowers, seeds and then fallen leaves of Wild Privet (Ligustrum vulgare), Sea-buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides) and other shrubs
