Single-brooded, overwinters as a larva

Recorded size of fully grown larvae - 15 to 18mm

Usual larval stage August to early-June

Adult forewing - around 14 to 16mm. Flies late June to early August

Larval foodplants : Mainly fallen oak leaves (Quercus spp)
