Recorded size range of fully grown larvae - 8 to 10 mm

Single-brooded, overwinters as a larva, usual larval stage August to the following spring

Larval foodplants : Not known in the wild (the link below gives several foodplants recorded in Finland), in captivity will feed on blanched lettuce
